Delhi Hosts Mega Hybrid Conference DoSCI–ComSIA 2026 with Worldwide Academic Participation

7th Doctoral Symposium on Computational Intelligence (DoSCI 2026) and 3rd International Conference on Computing Systems & Intelligent Applications (ComSIA 2026), organized jointly by School of Open Learning, University of Delhi; Institute of Engineering & Technology, a constituent institute of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow; Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women University of Delhi; Silicon University Bhubhneshwar and University of Calabria, Italy.

A 2-day meet was held in hybrid mode during 20th-21st March 2026. It was a 2-day mega event, “DoSCI-2026” and “ComSIA-2026”, where around 3000 submissions of papers were received from 28 different counties and after a rigorous double peer-review process; a total of 490 papers were accepted for publication with an acceptance ratio of only 16%.

All the papers have been presented in these two days by many active researchers, practitioners, academicians, research scholars and industrial experts. All the accepted paper will be published in the Springer Series on Lecture Notes on Networks and Systems (LNNS series) indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and many more. The Conference also promotes startup and entrepreneurship activities among students worldwide through NATIONAL IDEATHON-2026.

A total of 1540 registrations were received in five themes related to Sustainability, Healthcare, AI, Education, Smart Cities and Social Impact. A total of 15 Teams have been shortlisted for the final round of presentation on 20th March 2026.

A team named “Shram Saarthi” from VIT Bhopal have won the first prize includes a cash prize of 31,000/-; second position goes to the team “LOKSETU” from Baba Saheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar University Lucknow Satelite Centre Amithe includes a cash prize of 21,000/-; and. The third position goes to the team “VISION2FIX” from Chennai Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu includes a cash prize of 11,000/-. Another Jury Choice Award have been given to an idea presented by 9th class Kendriya Vidhyalaya R.K. Puram Team “SVARA” with a cash prize of 5,100/-.

The 2-day event started with the Lamp lighting, Sarasvati Vandana and Delhi University Kulgeet, followed by the address from Organising secretaries (Dr. Deepak Gupta, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi); followed by the from the Symposium Chair (Dr. Abhsiehk Swaroop, BPIT, Delhi); followed by the address from Prof. Girish Chandra, HoD, IET Lucknow; followed by the address from Prof. Vineet Kansal, Director, IET Lucknow; followed by the address from Prof. Payal Mago, Director, School of Open Learning, University of Delhi; followed by an address from our esteemed Chief Guest (Prof. Anu G Aggarwal, Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi); and the inauguration has been ended by the vote of thanks from Prof. Ajay Jaiswal, Principal, School of Open Learning, Delhi University. DoSCI-2026 & ComSIA-2026 would like to give special thanks to Prof. Sameer Anand (Convener), Dr. Gulshan Srivastava (Organising Secretary), Dr. Aditya Khamparia (Convener), Dr. Upendra Upadhayay (Convener) for their invaluable guidance and organizational skills, which helped make this event a grand success. The program is presided by Prof. Payal Mago, Director School of Open Learning, University of Delhi and Prof. Vineet Kansal, Director, IET Lucknow. This year Renowned Speakers from various part of the world marked their presence to make this event successful. On Day-1, Prof Kavita Khanna, Sauth Asian University, Delhi; Dr. Mohammed Ishaque, Jeedal International Collge, Saudi Arabia; and on Day-2, Prof. Prof. Fernando Moreira, Universidade Portucalense, Portugal; marked their presence and made this Conference informative and insightful.

The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation of approximately 600 attendees, including 140 participants attending in offline mode and around 450 participants joining online, reflecting a strong blend of physical and virtual engagement.

Overall, DoSCI 2026 and ComSIA 2026 provided a dynamic international platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation. The event successfully fostered interdisciplinary dialogue, encouraged young researchers, and contributed significantly to advancements in computational intelligence and intelligent systems, reinforcing its position as a leading global academic forum.
