‘D Daptracha D’ a regional short film has grabbed the attention of Film Festivals nowadays. Where it has won 25+ National & International awards & streaming on Pocket Film. The short film is written & directed by Parag Chaudhari who is one of the youngest filmmakers working in the Indian film industry. The short holds various records in it. It’s the 1st Tawadi language regional film to be featured on OTT. Also, it is showcased at the Film Theatre. It directly stands with those few short films in India that got showcased at Film Theatre. The film has got the attention of some big film festivals like Kalakari Film Fest, Chandigarh Music & Film Festival, and Devgiri Film Festival. It is also nominated at Golden FEMI Film Festival in Bulgaria, Europe June 2023.
The Film’s story is about Pavan (Brother) and Chakuli(Sister). Pawan is an ambitious and hardworking boy. He lost his mother and father in his childhood days since all the responsibility of the house and his sister’s education is on his shoulder. He is managing all these by doing ironing work. His only dream is to make her sister successful in her life. The fight for destiny & the struggle with the circumstances to fulfill dreams can be seen in this film.
20 years old Parag Chaudhari is one of the youngest filmmakers working in the Indian Film Industry & has worked in various OTT projects as Actor, Writer & Associate. His full-length feature as an actor is on the way to getting released. Through this film, he debuted as Director in the industry. He has also announced of doing some big projects very soon. Many filmmakers have appreciated him for his work, and many news media has covered his success It’s a proud moment to see that the new talent is rising.
