Actor Hirav Mehta has received widespread appreciation for his impressive performance in Dhurandhar, a film that marked a dream debut for the young actor. Despite being his first Bollywood outing, Hirav held his own in a powerful ensemble cast, earning praise for his screen presence and emotional intensity in a high-stakes narrative.
With Dhurandhar officially entering the list of the top five highest-grossing Indian films alongside blockbusters like Jawan and KGF, Hirav called the achievement overwhelming. Reacting to the film’s massive success, the actor shared that he feels “deeply grateful to God for allowing me to be a part of a Bollywood film.” He added that working with senior stars such as Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna, under director Aditya Dhar, was a surreal experience. What makes the success even more special for Hirav is the fact that Dhurandhar is his debut film. “It has gone on to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark, becoming the first adult film in India to achieve this milestone,” he said, adding that the film has now surpassed Rs 1,200 crore at the global box office. The actor admitted that the scale of success has left him feeling “incredibly blessed” and confident that it will open many new doors for him in the industry.
Looking back at his journey, Hirav spoke about years of struggle and perseverance. “When I look back at the journey, the countless auditions and finally landing a Bollywood film through Mukesh Chhabra sir’s faith in me feels overwhelming,” he said, crediting Mukesh Chhabra for believing in his potential and trusting him with the role.
Hirav also shared his excitement for Dhurandhar Part 2. While he remained tight-lipped about details, he said he is “super excited” and hopes the sequel receives even more love from the audience. Expressing gratitude, the actor concluded by saying he feels extremely happy and thankful to God and to the blessings and support of his loved ones.
